Grandpa Bob’s Bee Company began in 2022 from Eugene’s focus on fresh, healthy food for the family. We were growing an herb and vegetable garden for the best ingredients. Although there were plenty of flowers on the plants, there weren’t many vegetables. Brittany’s research said the garden needed more bees so we stopped by a local nursery to purchase some pollinator-friendly flowers. After adding these flowers, the garden took off so quickly, we couldn’t eat it all. 

Bees….bees were the key to a successful garden.

From there, we began the quest for bee knowledge, joining the local beekeepers association and mentoring with a bee whisperer, Earl. Brittany’s grandfather passed away in the fall and sent a small parting gift. In honor of his memory and celebrating life and nature, we decided to use this gift for beekeeping and thus, Grandpa Bob’s Bee Co was born.
